Where You Are

I think my child needs help, where do we start?

Consult

Sometimes as a parent or caregiver, you might find yourself wondering how best to support your child or if maybe it's the right time to get some extra help. We'd love to talk to you about your questions and concerns and help provide next-step action items for you and your child.

Refer

We will reach out to your child's doctor to obtain a referral for the appropriate services. This may require that you schedule a visit with your doctor or we may be able to just simply obtain the appropriate paper work.

Evaluate

You will be scheduled for an in-person evaluation to assess the areas of concerns you and your doctor have for your child. This evaluation will consist of talking about your child's medical, developmental, and social history in addition to getting specific information about your child's needs through formal testing and informal observation and play.

Plan

Based on the results of the evaluation, we will work with you to plan the next steps. This may be as simple as giving you some ideas of things you can do at home to further support your child if we find that therapy is not needed. If we determine that your child would benefit from therapy, we will work with you to develop a plan to give your child and family the help you need.

Work

Working toward your goals is a team effort. We will bring our expertise and a large toolbox of evidence-based approaches to complement your knowledge of your child and their needs. We work through daily routines and play to make real, enduring changes. Therapy with Casa Pediatric Care doesn't stop when the therapy session ends. We strive to use our therapy sessions to equip you to support your child throughout the entire week by incorporating learning and teaching opportunities into your normal routines.

TESTIMONIALS

Parents Recommend

Ashley D.

The staff at Casa Pediatric Care are absolutely incredible. I have worked with three different therapists at this company and have loved my experience. Raising a special needs child can be extremely intimidating and scary, but the women that my son and I worked with never made me feel alone and were extremely compassionate and knowledgeable, in helping us. My son loved his therapists here. They met him where he was at and challenged him to develop and grow!

I cannot recommend Casa Pediatric Care enough. We work with both speech/feeding and physical therapy. My son has made incredible progress since we started with Casa! The therapists care about the whole child & the whole family - the in-home model of partnering with families works & creates so much space for adapting to your child & family needs. My son loves his therapy sessions each week and as a parent I always feel more equipped and more encouraged at the end of each session. You can’t go wrong with this team!"

"Rachel started working with our daughter in our home as a baby until she tested out of therapy as a toddler. It felt more like play than work and our daughter always looked forward to therapy! She helped us navigate our child’s ever-changing needs as she developed with all the care of a good friend. We’ll always be thankful that we were given the opportunity to work with Rachel at such a formative time for our child!"
